I had not a lot of opportunities to shoot snowboarding this winter: don’t get me wrong, I spent a lot of time in the montains, but I preferred to ride myself instead of taking photos to others having fun.
One of the few times I took my camera out the bag was at Full Munny contest in Chiesa Valmalenco. I wasn’t really covering the event for no one in particular: not for any client nor magazine, so I wasn’t scared to get the good pictures. Therefor I spent a lot of time looking for different angles, hiding in the hoods in order to frame the rider in the branches, and this picture of Marco Grigis spinning frontside 1080 is what I came out with.
